I received a newsletter from The Impossible Project when I came back from my big trip in Sep.
was soooo happy about it and immediately subscribe to the open house tour.
there's limited number of people per group.
I wanted to join the afternoon group but it was already full when i sent the mail,
so, i joined the morning group,
waking up at 5:30 and take the train at 6 something in order to reach Enschede by 10:00
unfortunately the train delayed and i was lost for a while,
therefore i arrived at the factory like half an hour late.
The guy is so nice, he still let me join the rest of the guided tour.
在九月大旅行回來後收到the impossible project的電子報
看到factory tour超興奮 馬上報名
結果早上場滿了 只好報名下午場
也就是說要花比較多的車票錢 不能買九點以後的打折票 也不能用特價票
於是乎 我早上五點半就起床 六點多從delft出發惹!

I love that they keep so many old things which were used back in Polaroid era.
including the building, machines and even the people who work there.
我喜歡這老老的燈 串連著整棟樓 樓梯則圍繞著燈走
有很古老的感覺 有70年代 太空時代的感覺
我喜歡它們保留許多拍立得時代的東西
包括建築 家具 機器阿 甚至很多員工都是當年在拍立得工作的人

既然都來到拍立得工廠了
當然要用自己的拍立得拍一張阿!

there are many interesting images on the wall/pillar
look at the innovative idea they have,
they've turned the spring in the film into a photo frame!!
very cool!
在工廠裡的牆壁上 柱子上 桌上
常常可以看到很多拍立得測試實驗
拍完就隨機貼在牆壁上!
它們還很創意的把底片裡面的彈簧摺一摺變成相框

they've tested so many different kind of effect under different environment and other affecting factors.

實驗室裏面有很多測試效果
在不同的外在環境 溫度 光線 底片年紀 底片保存環境 等等的
來測試不同情況下 效果會有什麼不同

in 2008, Polaroid decided to stop manufacturing films,
and in 2010, it was brought back to life by the Impossible Project.
The impossible project is improving,
it has cooperated with a design school in Switzerland to design this slice of black paper,
it comes out when you insert the new film into the camera!
there's a sentence on it, i love this kind of little surprise!
拍立得在慢慢的進步了
在2008年(確切年不是很確定)決定停產底片
直到2010年底片再度復出
以不同的名字再度回到人們的生活

現在在裡面工作的員工 幾乎都是當年在拍立得工作的人 [致敬!]
他門與瑞士的一間設計學校合作 設計底片裡的黑色卡片
每當你把新的底片裝進去相機時
它就會吐出一張黑色的卡紙出來 上面隨機寫著一段文字
我喜歡這種小驚喜 獨一無二的
以策略的觀點來看 這種uniqueness的行銷手法
以及這一次的open house tour都是push一種收集的心態
每個人喜歡獨一無二的心態
把消費者帶入品牌的一種互動!
