Happy 2011!

-New year's eve, in front of London Eye, London, United Kingdom-

oh it's quite late since it's already feb.......

and this picture might be quite messy, but it depicts the situation on that night very well.

counting down in London, another check on the to-do list in my life.

very crowded for sure, with the music played by DJ from BBC radio 1,

i was really really excited when the DJ said Hello London! and BBC was broadcasting LIVE to the whole wide world. jumping and singing along with the music till mid night, right in front of London eye:)

there was a couple standing infront of us, around the same age as my parents i guess.(so we called them the papa and mama, and we guess they are italian based on what we heard) they were super friendly to us since the beginning, wanting to share their SEAT with us many times,(which was made out of the papa's jacket). and of course the songs were mainly popular music so they were not familiar with any song. 

I still remember vividly, it was Sex On Fire by Kings of Leon, the DJ stopped some part of the song so that people can sing out loud that lyric(which was sex on fire), the papa and mama didn't have any clue what it was, so the mama asked me what it is talking about, i said it's sex on fire.[now whenever i heard this song, it reminds me of them]

then i started thinking i should give her a hug after the count down, 'cuz i felt warm standing there with them, and it was like we were counting down with our parent and they were counting down with thier children.(we did discuss it seriously weather i should do it or not XD)

during the counting down,(the firework last around 10 min i think), and that was also the moment when i saw the screen of papa's video camera, the language displayed on the screen wasn't italian at all, it's more like russian type of language. so i guess they are from somewhere like bulgaria or romania.

after that, mama turned and hugged me!!!!saying happy new year!!

oh my gosh! i loooooooove the feeling so much! we dont know each other's name, nothing,

we met there, and we hug purely 'cuz of new year! i like this kind of interaction with stranger during the trip!

[just like i asked the couple to play the rope game with me in Madrid, and all i can say is hola.... i feel good though.]

anyway, that was the beginning of my 2011, which i enjoyed a lot!
