About Frillybylily [info originally from Frillybylily website]

frillybylily was founded in May 2006 

when I started selling at Portobello road market in West London.

For 6 years I have been hand assembling one off items using reclaimed vintage bits and bobs. Sourcing these reclaimed items has defined the business, 

as it makes it much more challenging.

As demand has grown, the focus has been shifted to ethical manufacturing, and creating a capacity to be able to complete larger orders. I have spent some time considering whether to manufacture abroad or at home.

I have designed a new collection that is being manufactured in Holloway in North London using solid recycled brass.

The collection is inspired by vintage costume jewellery and sits well alongside my hand-assembled work as it tells an ongoing story 

and reflects my love of vintage costume jewellery.

frillybylily jewellery has been sold online 

and in a few independent boutiques as well and Urban Outfitters stores.

frillybylily has been featured on BBC radio, in Grazia, Cosmopolitanand The Independent amongst other publications.
