something Valentine / 變成一朵透明玫瑰!

something rosy, before Valentine's day

西洋情人節之前來點應景的玫瑰花吧!

 oh yes, sorry for not updating blog bilingually recently,

have been quite busy searching for showcase&workshop opportunities.

i really wanna have as much experience as possible during my stay in London.

Since Valentines day is coming next Tuesday, 

i think it's time to post something Valentine : )

好的!下星期二就是西洋情人節了!

所以就來一點跟情人節相關的東西吧!

來一朵玫瑰好了!!

To begin with, this is what i always do,

draw something that i wanna make it into stamps with eraser.

after several try out, the flower, the shape,

don't be afraid, just draw it on the surface of the eraser.

it's kind of hard to erase the line u dont want on the eraser, 

but just neglect that while you're carving.

通常我會先在紙上大略畫一下想要刻的圖案

摸索出想要的感覺

 畫了幾個之後 就知道大約的樣子

 so here we go, 

neglect the stem on the left side, hahaha

carve out the part that you don't want with a cutter.

然後 就大膽的畫在橡皮擦上面吧

畫錯了也沒關係

因為畫在橡皮擦上面不好清理掉 

在刻的時候就忽略他就好了XD

i made a rose and a glass cover, 

which was inspired by the classic Disney movie "Beauty and the Beast" 

[obviously :) ]

so i separate those two patterns into 2 stamps. so that it's easier to control the color you wanna use.

為了套色方便 我把玫瑰花本主體跟玻璃罩分成兩個獨立的印章

這樣它們也可以分別再跟其他印章做新的創作!

靈感是從很喜歡的迪士尼經典卡通美女與野獸來的

[應該很明顯吧XD]

 since most of my colored ink pad are nearly dried out, 

i simply use some markers to color the stamp.

i colored it with red, green and brown.

大部分的有顏色的小印台都已經乾掉不然就是顏色不夠飽和

所以現在都用Muji的色筆上色

玫瑰花套用了紅色 綠色跟咖啡色

上色之後要火速蓋到紙上

不然乾了也是滿尷尬的XD

 and i also made a try out, by applying blue onto the back of the glass cover.

 燈燈!就是醬子!

還嘗試了套用一下藍色想要看看會不會比較有玻璃的效果!

so this is how it looks like,
